How we handle errors and updates to our published content

Our Commitment
Nigeria Online Market is committed to accuracy. When we make errors — whether factual, typographical, or contextual — we correct them promptly, clearly, and transparently. We do not silently delete or alter content without acknowledgement.
Types of Corrections
Minor Corrections
Typos, grammatical errors, and formatting issues are corrected silently without a formal notice, as they do not affect the substance of the article.
Factual Corrections
If a factual error is identified, we update the article and add a dated correction notice at the bottom explaining what was changed and why.
Significant Updates
When significant new information changes the substance of an article, we update the content and update the "last modified" date, noting what was changed.
Retractions
In rare cases where an article is substantially inaccurate or misleading in its entirety, we may retract it. A retraction notice will remain at the original URL explaining the decision.
